German Valley, Illinois – A fire that left one home a total loss broke out in a German Valley on Friday morning this week. According to the German Valley Fire Department, twenty seven apparatus from fifteen fire departments, along with countless firefighters, aided the German Valley Fire Department on the scene.
According to officials the home was vacant and was located by Lamm and Springfield roads. Officials stated that the fire completely engulfed the home with flames ‘shooting’ out of the windows.
No one was reportedly hurt in Friday’s fire. The fire was said to have broke out around 1:00 a.m..
