PEARL CITY, ILLINOIS — The fifth grade students from Pearl City Elementary School recently worked on a special science project involving world biomes. The students collaborated together to determine what climate, animals, plants, location, and soil their particular biome had.
Then they had to draw, write, and color on a poster board what they researched about their assigned biome.
Finally, the students cut apart their picture into 9-12 pieces forming a huge puzzle and each group presented their project orally to the class.
Everyone enjoyed learning about the Desert, Tropical Rain Forest, Grassland, Taiga, Tundra, and Deciduous Forest!
