FREEPORT, ILLINOIS — Due to dangerous temperatures the Freeport Salvation Army has announced it will be closed today. They say this includes the office, meal site and food pantry. The monthly Advisory Board meeting will need to be rescheduled. The Freeport Salvation Army will have the lobby open, for anyone who wishes to use it as a warming shelter.
The Freeport Salvation Army is located at 106 W Exchange St.
