Freeport, Illinois — It was May 10th of this current year when Freeport received the great news of MetLife announcing their return to our great city.
Today, to celebrate MetLife Auto & Home’s return, officials from MetLife and representatives of the Freeport community opened the refurbished building at 500 MetLife Way (formerly Economy Court).
MetLife Auto & Home announced it would add 150 new jobs in the Freeport, IL area over the next two years back in May, joining about 200 current MetLife Auto & Home employees, who then worked from home, in a newly refurbished MetLife facility in downtown Freeport.
Today, they celebrated their Grand Re-Opening.
