Freeport, Illinois — In the effort to continually serve our school community better, Freeport School District is excited to announce the launch of our redesigned district website.
The district partnered with Blackboard Inc., the educational technology company behind the district’s previous website, to build a new site that will provide a responsive and engaging web experience for visitors across every device. The new website will bring students, parents, and community members news and information in a more concise, consistent manner.
One of the first things you’ll notice is easier navigation. You will be able to access all the information that’s important to you and your students more quickly and often in fewer clicks.
You will also notice a responsive design that automatically adjusts content depending on what device you’re using to access the site. The website is easily accessible from any device, including computers, tablets, and smartphones.
“Communication is key to the success of any school district because it helps build community support and ensures parents have the information they need to be a partner in their student’s education,” says Dr. Mike Schiffman, FSD Superintendent. “As we continue to work to strengthen and improve our communication as a district, this redesigned website is an effort that we hope will serve our families well.”
